Yeah, I didn't have a problem with the hat because the sun would be
really strong out in Las Vegas so wearing a hat makes sense, and the
type he was wearing would give him some protection for his neck as
well as his face. It's not great from a fa****on sense but he's on the
job so it makes sense to not worry about the looks over the usability.
Now, the beret was just a plain horrible choice. There's no reason to
believe that would be the kind of head covering Grissom would choose,
and it didn't add anything to the scene. I wonder how many people
thought that actually enhanced Grissom's looks in that scene?
