No idea. As far as I can figure, she'll either say no (leading to
their relation****p disintegrating over the next couple of episodes and
her departure) or she'll say yes and then flake out at the last minute
and leave. Maybe the "New love interest" is him trying to get on with
his miserable shattered life and/or some kind of self-destructive
thing (a la Kovac on "ER" after Nurse Doppelganger left)... bleak and
sad, anyone?
