They shouldn't have to fight an inaccurate perception. There's plenty
of information out there, including lots of good YouTube videos that
explain in clear terms what they're asking for. If people won't bother
to inform themselves, then it's not the fault of the writers that
those people have chosen to embrace a misperception. They can only do
so much.
