I can't wait until the show is over for this one-

Yes, 'remote kill' of a laptop exists. But they sure aren't up on 
computer forensics if they didn't immediately image the hard drive in a 
shielded room. (Not that Sat links work inside worth a damn anyway.) And 
there isn't a laptop alive that can't be stopped cold by pulling the 
battery.

Side note- secure laptops have the hard drives encrypted with stuff 
stronger than any little county lab can crack.

I know- it's just a TV show.
