Don't the English have their own detective shows?  And they're damn
boring.

I'm not American and I'm a bit too young to be familiar with The Who
so bear with me.  I think CSI: New York and CSI: Miami has the West
Coast covered.  CSI: LA sounds good but I worry that it would be
another glamfest like CSI: Miami.  (Don't get me wrong: I usually like
CSI: Miami but if CSI: LA started doing the same sort of stories with
rappers and film stars then the writers for CSI: Miami would have to
come up with something different and I don't think they can.)  So I'm
thinking they could do CSI: Seattle first and then CSI: St. Louis and
then finally CSI: LA if the market demands.  I mean, sure, why not put
CSI on six days a week?  What else does CBS have to show? :)
