This is true, but...  seems like all these "apartments" are always
right on the ocean, or a canal/river, so go to your own apartment, and
change your clothes.  After the first "interview" take your stuff and
dump it in one of the canals/rivers or the ocean in your front yard
(or was that the back yard, anyway)...  Then, by early afternoon, the
stuff has been in salt water for hours (lol).

Hey, at least once couldn't they have a relatively intelligent guy,
that is smart enough not to do the stupid crap and be caught right
away (and no, Clavo doesn't count, he always got caught, just managed
to get away with it).  Miami needs someone like Milander.
