I always wondered what would happen if two young people started dating 
and became serious about each other, maybe even married, and then their 
respective parents got together. Would their relation****p, which started 
out both perfectly legal and moral, suddenly become a crime? And what if 
they were married? Would their marriage suddenly become void when their 
parents started dating and/or married each other?

If not, then why should it be a problem the other way around?

Yeah, no ****. It's bad enough when every single criminal spontaneously 
confesses to the crime, thereby negating all of the constitutional 
violations Horatio's team makes in the course of their investigations 
(if it weren't for these bizarre confessions, Horatio's team would have 
a rock-bottom conviction rate) but this time we have an experienced FBI 
agent who just spills the entire thing to Horatio and the girl who 
always looks like she's about to go clubbing on South Beach.

I guess that Horatio Caine Stare of Death is a force to be reckoned 
with. It's a wonder that the courts haven't ruled his stare a de facto 
violation of the 5th Amendment at this point. Since he can get anyone-- 
from a street-hardened gang-banger to a veteran federal agent-- to 
confess merely by looking at them, it almost seems like the Stare of 
Death robs people of their free will.
