Well, I have a feeling the Ronnie Lake character won't be coming back
to CSI to take Sara Sidle's place. Looks like the actress who played
her, Jessica Lucas, has a blossoming movie career in front of her,
with the huge success of "Cloverfield" this past weekend (It broke box
office records for January). It's unlikely she wants to be a main
character on a TV show after having a breakout hit on the big screen,
she'll have too many movie parts coming her way. Oh well, there's
always lab tech Wendy Simms to take the Sara spot, which is fine with
me (Liz Vassey is drop-dead gorgeous). We'll see once the writers'
strike is over.
BTW, I highly recommend Cloverfield, it's pretty darn exciting (Blair
Witch meets Godzilla), though you might get dizzy with the shaky
handheld camcorder effect.
