Except that even the Sheriff stated that the boyfriend has diminished
capacity too. Her family was deceased, and I don't recall reading
anything about his family. It's entirely possible that he didn't
realize how serious it was until that long after. He'd said that
everyday he'd ask her if she would come out, and she'd say, maybe
tomorrow. It's just really sad.
