PS: There were multiple police depts in NYC, Housing & Transit, in 
addition to the NYPD; but they were merged into one big force in 1995. 
The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) still has its own Police Dept.

Like the PANYNJ, their jurisdiction is not limited to the 5 counties 
which make up NYC.
