No, they are just vests identifying the person as working with the
crime lab (along with their ID cards, normally worn on tacky looking

That's true, I thought that, then thought, way too easy. This isn't
CSI:M after all. Need a little thought provoking. I actually figured
out who it was, when I told DH that the particular person certainly
seemed to be asking some off beat questions.

Brown was cleared of the killing of the stripper (though I'm hard
pressed to remember how, just remember the comment from Nick, I think,
welcoming him back from his suspension), so there wasn't anything that
could have been used. The thing with Nick was that the only evidence
exhonerating him in the death of the call girl was the epithelials on
the curtain tie backs, so it could have gone either way.
