I don't think it was a teaser for anything. We know that Grissom knows 
where Sarah is as he mentioned this after she left. I think the call is 
just to show he's still talking to her. Sarah is still in Grissom's life 
even if she isn't on screen.

I doubt they're teasing that she's coming back already.
