As Thanatos said, the shades thing (and the line delivery) are not
scripted things, they are affectations that Caruso chose to give the
character.

Um...  NO, the director will NOT change what is in the script.  If a
change is needed or required, one of the writers will do it, and it
won't be because the director said so.  More like the producer
(Anthony Zuicker, Carol Mendohlson [sp?], or Ann Donahue) decided to
change something, using the writers.

But most don't.

There are goofs (a missing bullet) which are fun to catch, and then
there are outright fallacies (oh, say searching a house, without a
warrant, and not having the evidence tossed).  Most people are tired
of the outright fallacies that occur in Miami.  Imagine the outrage
when that pedophile gets the case tossed because of the abuse he
received at the hands of an overzealous cop...

I enjoy Miami, strictly from the standpoint that I can make fun of H
to my husband and my friends, who also watch for the same purpose.  We
also like pointing out all the glaring errors made by the CSI's
<shrug>, it's our thing.

I am as entitled to ***** as you are to dislike it.  When it gets too
much, I don't watch it (any episode with Elizabeth Berkley falls into
*that* category, even the husband won't tolerate her presence any
longer), but I do enjoy hearing what others think of the episode.  So,
each to their own.

You know, in this group, that if it's about CSI:Miami, odds are it
won't be pleasant.  You could just avoid those posts if the
complaining bothers you that much.
