Um, no Caruso is *not* a producer.  He's never even been offered a
producer credit.  Not sure he'd take it were it offered either.  He
does what he does because he wanted it to be and feel "different".

Alan Smithee actually, however, there are different directors (17 in 6
years, the fewest shows 2, the most 22) credited with episodes of
CSI:Miami.  Then, on the original, they sometimes get a director like
Quentin Tarantino, but that is pretty rare.  They have no say in
character actions or line deliveries, those are/were determined by the
actor and the show's creator (Zuicker).

and Caruso is notorious for being a "hissy fit" type of actor, though
not so bad as his NYPD:Blue days.

I learned all thru the years. If you want to know about hissy

Ooze is just a freak.  Plain and simple.  A short man with Napolean
complex (yes I have met him, and he really is *that* short).
