Something else that I found ridiculous was when Alex told Horatio that she

was quitting, and he said, "The door will always be open for you." As if a

CSI lieutenant would have any say on who can or can't be the coroner. 
Unless I'm horribly mistaken, coroner is a county position, and has no
real 
connection to Crime Scene Investigation.
