Yep. I don't think anything like this ever results in a small refund.
Even if you sued, the lawyers would turn it into a class-action suit so
they get all the cash and you get a coupon for $5 off on your next
month's bill, only valid if you are still their customer.

"If you don't like our service, we'll give you a couple of bucks off on
more of it."
