Black presence on CYE

by "umo" <shoreke@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 3, 2005 at 10:03 PM

There has been a dramatic increase in the number of Black people
featured on CYE episodes. The exploration of racial tension and
awkwardness when Larry interacts with Blacks gives the show an intense
realness and delightful edge that places the show clearly above any
other TV program. It is one of several factors that make CYE superior
even to Seinfeld.

The Dodger game episode was the best CYE ever and featured the
spectacular performance of Black actress Kim Whitley as the LA hooker.
Wanda Sykes is great in her recurring role on the show. Kudos to Larry
David for having the foresight and insight to bring some chocolate
flavor to Curb Your Enthusiasm.
