It's group something.   But those using it are using it for effect -
not because they don't know the real word.   Poets and other authors
do that kind of thing as well.

I find it slows me down reading - I don't "hear" the word easily when
they aren't spelled out.

Speaking of illiteracy - I haven't seen Seinfeld and I don't know who
Larry David is.   So I'm the illiterate one for this group.
