I noticed how some things do repeat in season 9 from the season 8 dream
season.
1) In the dream season ( season 8 ), Ray and Donna are building their
new house. In season 9, the house is already built and Ray BUYS the
house which was for sale.
2) In the dream season ( season 8 ), Ray, Clayton, and Jack start their
own cattle business called "SaddleTree Enterprises". And in season 9,
Ray and Clayton form a partnership and start their own cattle business,
even though it doesn't have a name.
3) In the dream season ( season 8 ), oil prices were going down, and
small independent oil companies were going out of business, and this was
the same storyline in season 9 as well.
4) Of course the whole Ben Stivers thing was carried over from the
dream, only for Stivers to be called Wes Parmelee instead. But he was
still brought back as a ranch hand who landed a job at Southfork.
