There would be one way to do that: find someone with an Edison
Dictaphone and pay them to make a cylinder recording of it. Not an
impossible thing to do, but not easy either. You'd need to get a CD of
the song w/out that stupid voiceover that was on the record album, and
then have them play it into the Dictaphone speaker.

Thing is, you have a choice of a 2-minute or 4 minute recording and i
forget how long the song was.

Now--what do you think about THIS? I know someone who has an Edison with
THE EXACT SAME HORN as Quentin's machine. They want $950 for the horn
and machine, but it is all identical to Quentin's so far as I can tell.

I can't afford it, tho :(
