You can't compare a show like Moonlight with Dark Shadows.  Technically,
of course, Moonlight is head and shoulders above Dark Shadows, but it
should be after all the technical advances over the years.  DS was meant
to be a gothic soap opera.  Moonlight is not.  The acting on Moonlight
is superior to DS, but the actors of DS were working in a different
framework.  A lot of contem****ary actors couldn't do DS.

My favorite remains Forever Knight.
