Remember too that Dark Shadows was designed to air every day, Monday
through Friday, it aired every day whether the show was ready to go
or not. (Hnnce all the flubs.)
Moonlight in contrast has the luxury of over the course of an entire
week. They also have the luxury to reshoot scenes. Dark Shadows
had none of that luxury.
Also Moonlight is a high budget show (probably a $1 million plus
per episode). Dark Shadows on the other hand had a budget of
as close to zero as you can get. Oh and there is the state
of effects for Moonlight is light years ahead of Dark Shadows.
(35+ years will do that.)
