My prior experiences attending Dark Shadows Fests tells me that the word
"panel" means something different in DS fandom from what it means in the
real world.

A DS Fest "panel" is usually one lone fanzine editrix standing on-stage by
herself talking into a microphone for 20-30 minutes. She'll field
randomly-chosen questions from DS fans in the audience, usually
disseminating much misinformation in the process.  Sometimes she'll admit
she doesn't know the answer and defers to other audience members who claim
they do.

One of the factual howlers at the 2007 Fest was the answer to the question
of why Michael McGuire never attends the DS Fests.  The "panel" claimed it
was because McGuire had died.  

I wouldn't expect much from the 2008 "panel discussion."
