Thanks for the info. I'm not a regular DS poster, I'm usually over
on the MASH board. But, having grown up with the show in Rochester,
NY in the 70's, I check in with it now and then. I all but refuse to
watch most modern movies and tv, as I don't think they hold a candle
to the older stuff. So Johnny Depp will play Barnabas? See, to me,
you can't beat Frid. In the 60's and 70's, grown men were on TV.
Now, they all seem like prepubescent pretty boys. And the color of TV
and film seemed richer and sharper. I look at old Bonanza's and the
richness in color seems to jump right off the screen. New shows and
movies all look so washed out, overly soft and subdued in color and
contrast.
Ok, lol, as you can see I'm on a roll. Thanks for your info, I'll
be looking for the dvd this summer. I wish I could get Frid to sign
one of my comics or trading cards, but it seems impossible to reach
