=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0Arriving at the mausoleum Ben hoped he was prepared to do
the last thing his friend and Master asked of him. Opening the gate to
the Families resting place Ben walks in passing the still remains of
little Sarah. Pulling the ring the secret door opens, Barnabas' coffin
in view. Stepping into the hidden room Ben does not bother to close the
door, going to the coffin he lifts the lid, within lies Barnabas,
appearing to the untrained eye to be in all respects dead. =A0=A0=A0

=A0Ben reaches for the wooden stake and mallet he had placed on the
floor, raising the stake to Barnabas' chest Ben quickly takes it away...
his head bowed Ben remember's Barnabas' request..." You must help me
Ben... to rest as Sarah rest's... Say it Ben, Yes!" =A0 Lifting the
stake once again Ben places it directly over Barnabas' heart, bringing
up the mallet in the other hand Ben is about to end Barnabas' suffering,
when he suddenly hears the voice of ... ANGELIQUE! She is laughing.
=A0=A0=A0=A0"Ben you will not move anywhere near that stake, do you
think because I am not there that I can not stop you... I am always
there Ben. Looking up Ben sees the face of the witch Angelique, she is
looking at him from above, her eye's sparkle with fiery rage. =A0
Barnabas will not escape me." =A0
Ben drops the stake and mallet, he is struck with dread and fear.
"Even in death I will make sure Barnabas suffers." Knowing her powers to
be much to great, leaving the room Ben runs away. =A0=A0=A0

=A0=A0Angelique hovers over Barnabas lying in his coffin. I will not
allow you to be free from me Barnabas, my curse will be with you always,
as will I." =A0 With a glance she slowly closes the coffin, leaving
Barnabas to once again rise when the burning star of day has disappeared
below the horizon, and the moon rises in the night sky. =A0 As she looks
upon the coffin sitting in the silent dark shadows of the tomb, the
secret door also closes. Angelique slowly dissolves into the air, the
sound of her laughter echoing in the chamber.

It was Angelique that worked her evil wonders throughout Collinwood
and Collinsport, it was she who sent Victoria to the gallows for
witchcraft... Angelique that urged Lt. forbes to disclose to Naomi
where her son Barnabas was, and after learning the truth of her beloved
son took her own life, she also dying in Barnabas' arms in the tower
room, confirming her undying love for him. Angelique called Josette to
Widows Hill and foretold to her the creature she would soon become...
when Barnabas came for her she jumped to and untimely death.

Barnabas could only surrender himself to his Father, although having
pitty on his son Joshua could not bring himself to kill his son, instead
he had Ben bind Barnabas' coffin in chains for what he believed to be
eternity.

When Victoria was led to the hangman, they placed a hood over her
face, upon her death when the hood is removed the hangman is shocked to
see the face of a strange woman.... Victoria was sent to her place of
return by the same sprit that had her go to the past.

The Centuries pass...Barnabas is released from his coffin by Willie
Loomis... Maggie Evans is a prisoner in the basement cell... she is
crying... when from outside the cell door she hears a young voice..
peering out the small barred window in the door Maggie sees child.. she
is tossing up a ball and catching it.. as she sings her little song.
"London Bridges is falling down... falling down, falling down, London
Bridge is falling down, my fair lady." Sarah was not sure why she was
awakened, although she knew the answer was within the Old House, even in
Collinsport itself. =A0 Turning to Maggie Sarah says. "Don't tell my
brother that I was down here, I'm not supposed to be here." Then walks
away. Maggie wondered who the little girl was and prayed she would help
her...
