I'm in Coral Springs, about 30 minutes NW of Ft. Lauderdale.  For it
to get into the 30s here is very rare...in fact, it's been 10 years
since it's been that cold here.  It went down to 32=EF=BF=BD Wed. night.
Thankfully, it's going back up to at 72=EF=BF=BD today.  Phew!

But I know cold.  I was born in Wisconsin (La Crosse) and lived 18
years outside of Chicago and worked in The Loop.  There is NOTHING
colder than standing on the Michigan Ave. el platform when that cold
wind is coming in off the lake.  Bah!  Never again!
