Actually, it didn't come totally out of left field. When I saw it I
was thinking "Why in God's name is John, who's not yet been able to
fully trust Marlena since this whole ordeal occurred suddenly putting
his ARM around her? Watch out Doc!"....I didn't think the head ba****ng
would happen right then, though, even though I'd already heard about
it ahead of time. I *WAS* very suspicious of JB's arm around her,
though. That was way outta' character for a guy who's just starting to
work towards trusting her. The writers (even if they're scabs) didn't
quite think that one through, as far as I'm concerned, Kat. It was
funnier than a cross-eyed cat  on roller skates, though.  ;o)


Doc's eyes bulged out in a very funny manner, sort of like one of
those rubber alien "squeeze it" toys for little toddlers.
