The ending was a moment where he kind of redeemed himself, but John
certainly an asshole today. OMG...I thought that Grandpapa Brady was
just bust some moves on him. Poor lil' Hope was trying to hold big
Grandpapa down. That was good acting on Frank Parker's behalf. He was
really somethin' else. Sheesh! Don't go messin' with that Irish temper
of Shawn Sr's. I was glad that Caroline wasn't there, she would have
been crying and freaking out.
I don't care if he's been "de-programmed" or what not, though, if
viewers have to see John act like THAT much of an asshole all over
again, I don't know how much longer they're going to put up with it.
Throwing away the necklace was just pure nonsense. I knew somebody
would retrieve it, but still, how freakin' rude was that?!?!?! And
then the little Visine induced solitary tear moment where he says
goodbye to ****rley Jones....Oh Puhleeze! Philip (all confrontational
about Stefano's reign of terror on the phone with Stef's daughter
Lexie, basically defending Colleen, a woman he'd never known prior)
and Grandpapa Brady were really something else, though...
John's being a total ASS, though. Get that guy back to normal and
soon. Hypnotize his ass something crazy, Marlena. Sheesh. What a
bastard he was today!!! That poor, poor old lady. Geez... At least he
kind of came full circle at the end, but still.....that was really
sassy of him. I wanted Bo to pop him in the left eye for it.
