No, it's always s****ts related on this show, actually... It's baseball
camp, football camp, soccer camp, etc. Ever notice none of the younger
characters on British soaps ever goes away to Cricket or Croquet camp,
Rugby camp, Horse Racing camp, etc., yet on DOOL every damned time
they want to easily get rid of (or recast or SORAS zap) a kid in a
freakin' storyline, he's hauled away to some goofy s****ts camp? LMAO!
My second cousin ran a popular s****ts camp for kids many years in a
row several years ago when he used to be a professional coach, so this
always cracks me up, otherwise I wouldn't act so fact-based and anal
about it. They don't EVER last for the whole summer like they do on
DOOL. They last about three to maybe five and a half weeks and often
aren't even for overnight! LMAO!
They're also *VERY* expensive and usually kids who live in apartments
with their single mothers, like Will Roberts when he was growing up,
simply cannot afford them. (Maybe we're supposed to think that Kate or
Victor paid for it?) The DOOL writers are really loopy that way. Some
kid who's unwed single mom (at the time) is a part time hospital
receptionist or a part time medical records file clerk (like Sami was
at the time) will wind up at a swanky "Basketball Camp" for an entire
summer and it's overnight and all of his meals are paid for, his
trans****tation is paid for, his s****ts gear, name brand s****ts shoes
and uniforms are paid for, etc., etc. What an absolute fall down riot
of a joke! But then again, just like Donna (TAR) said, they couldn't
even get Colleen's eye color right and give her blue contact lenses to
match the flashback scenes where Sweeney ****trayed her, so go
figure... ;o)
