Isn't Claire about three or four now? Why does her voice sound like
she's still two. The Kettner twins who originally portrayed Abby
Deveraux were the same way. It's annoying as all get out. By the time
a kid's three or four, their voice usually isn't as babyish and they
stop saying things like "Pop Pop" instead of grandpa. What's cute to
these viewers about a kid that age acting more like she's a baby? It's
like a reverse in growth in terms of her emotional maturity and it's
kind of sick.


It reminds me of kids who are three and still use a pacifier or still
want to nurse. Marlena's a psychiatrist. There ought to be a storyline
where Belle and Shawn D. (before they leave the show) have a colleague
(otherwise it would be a conflict of interest and Claire wouldn't take
it seriously...) of Marlena's help Claire out so that she gains the
autonomy to feel that she no longer has to talk like a little baby or
crawl up to John on the stairs like an infant as opposed to walking
straight and regular. She did some crawling this week and it made me
want to gag.
