I think it's got more to do with helping and/or protecting him than
sabotaging him, truthfully. It will all play out to reveal as much as
far as I'm concerned. Nick's kind of a hand wringer/worry wart,
though. He always expects the worse. He's kind of a downer that way.
Besides, Max has never had a reason to be jealous of or dislike Nick.
Nick said Max is his best friend even.
