Yeah, Claire uses total baby talk and even crawls around and prefers
to still be carried. Bonbon just refuses to see it because Claire is
John Black's ittle grandchild and so she's an obvious Bonbon favorite.
(If Belle goes to an indoor mall, Claire probably wants to be in a
stroller, too.) Part of this is realistic in the storyline, however.
If you will remember, Claire thought that Philip was her father and
then she got slammed with the truth about Shawn being her dad.


That's bound to make any kid resort back to exremely babyish tactics
because they are confused by the sordid mess that their family has
pushed onto them and they're crying out desperately for attention.
Claire's mom's recently cheated and for a long time has been in love
with two men instead of one. Claire's mom's a whore (as is her grandma
Marlena, who conceived Belle on an office conference room table with
John Black before divorcing Roman Brady) and her family is <ethically
and not monetarily> white trash, so go figure...
