Has anyone here heard if Martha Madison (Belle) is pregnant in real
life? This week they have been dressing her in concealing clothes and
she often only appears in face or upper torso shots. She often has her
hand on her stomach and is dressed in A-Line coats that she doesn't
take off for a long time or else an empire waist dress. She looks
bigger in the bust area, too.
Prior to this week, she had on oversized halter tops that were billowy
at the waist. From a side view on the Wednesday show this week it
looked like she was trying to conceal her tummy. I read recently that
she married her boyfriend not too long ago and couldn't wait to start
a family. It's kind of sad though, that if she is pregnant, she just
lost her job at DOOL...
Either way, for a gal who's gained a little bit of weight recently,
she still looks pretty darned good. It seems natural that the show
would try to hide it if she's really pregnant, because it doesn't fit
with her storyline right now. She just got back together with Shawn
and recently had sex with Philip, plus they are both leaving the show,
so a new baby storyline wouldn't exactly work well. Especially when
the lady who plays her aunt Kayla is already *IN* a pregnancy
storyline.
