Oh COOL!  Though I never watched "Jake and the Fatman", I remember Joe
Penny 
in a couple of episodes of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".  But the one 
thing I remember him best for, the first reason I ever knew his name, was
in 
a 20-year old movie called "Blood Vows: The Story Of A Mafia Wife", which 
starred Melissa Gilbert as his wife.  Good T.V. movie, and he was just so 
good in his part.  Where did you read about his casting on "Days"?
