I just decided to play 'catch up' with the show, as I haven't been
watching
it for about a year or more...
I figured I'd come here first, and see what's up with the characters, and
the plots. And I get to witness this little 'snarky rant'. Geeeze Louise
Perhaps there is another DOOL group for grown ups? As for this drivel...by
someone with *SERENE* in their addy, surely made me chuckle.
FYI this is a newsgroup forum, not an e-mail registered list, not a
personal
blog site, not a regulated site. It is for an OPEN *DISCUSSION* about the
show, and from what I read by this 'suzee', it was exactly ON topic and
totally in line with the post before it.
There was no 'slam', no derogatory remark to you 'serene', not even any
kind
of a personal poke at your post about Nicole. She's right, unless Nicole's
been switched by aliens in the past year or so that I've missed, it is
*exactly* in her nature to act like, um, well....'Nicole'.
I'm sure you have had personal problems with 'suzee' before this, and I am
not about to go do a search on that, but I just had to say something about
this nonsense. It is a free country, if you're posting from the USA, and
it
is a non regulated newsgroup. Anything goes, no one can stop anyone else
from posting what they want, and especially not when it was totally ON
topic, and made sense to, I would imagine, everyone here, that 'Nicole
will
be Nicole'.
No sleight on you, so it must have been a real bad scene between you two
if
this kind of follow-up post gets you raving mad over something like this.

agree with another person, grab a glass of wine, a valium a cup of
chamomile
tea, take a nice hot bath, with candles and soothing music, turn the
phones
off, send the kids out for a night or two, or better yet, get a nice room
in
a nice hotel in an area around you, and please, learn to chill out. You do
sound like you're about ready to go off the deep end.
You can not post a 'Restraining Order' online in a post, silly wabbit,
this
is for grown ups, grow a thicker skin, read for comprehension...not with
that boiling blood raging thru your brane and body, every time you see
'suzee' post.
Ya gotta let it go, or it will affect your whole life, if it hasn't

Do you lie awake at night, getting up to turn on the puter to see if she
has
posted anything to you? Do you awaken in the morning with 'suzee' on your
mind, get riled up if anyone defends her, or calls you on this tirade,

the many others), as I am now?
Hey, listen I'm new to this group, (don't even know if I wanna stick
around,
after listening to your inane tantrums, and I do know how to use my
killfile, and other filters), I just have been around for many years on
other groups, and it's getting pretty tiring to come in and see a bunch of
raging posts, by you against 'suzee'.
Take a little bit from your addy, "serene", and take a break, it will go
away. These are all, including me, just words on your screen if you choose
to read them. You can learn to 'ignore' or if not, killfile ppl, not just
'suzee', but me too, and any other ppl that you don't like. Pretty soon
you'll have a newsgroup all to yourself, and then perhaps you'll enjoy it
more. <sigh>
I apologize to the rest of the group for keeping the whole 'tirade' in at
the bottom of my post, and for entering in the middle of this mess, so

just say my piece, and go back to 'lurking' a bit to see if this is any
place I'd want to frequent. Take my advice, 'serene', I've known ppl

and have heard of many others, who get themselves all worked up over
something that is not in any way affecting your *real* life, it's just

Have you, (or anyone else here), seen the show "Rape in the Congo"? It's
on
now, on cable, not sure if it's HBO or SHO, one of them.
Anyway, it's about the raping of the women there, by *multiple* savage
men,
rebels, soldiers, and even the ppl working as UN Peacekeepers!
Not only with their 'b**y parts', but with sticks, knives and guns, how it
mutilates the women for years, physically, and then only if they HAPPEN to
make it to a hospital. These women are telling their stories in hopes that
our country, and all the rest of our world, who are refusing to help so
far...."they're only women", "they're only black women", "only natives",
that 'don't count' as they don't supply us with anything USEFUL!
Get to the part where they tell you about how the soldiers and other
rapists
kill the children of these women and force them to e** their own d**d or
d***g children*, or another one....when they have the woman's own children
stand on her stomach to force an a****tion of a pregnant woman, then
collecting the b***d from the womb, and making the woman d****k it!!!!!
Dammit, I'm still in shock over what I watched and I've seen a LOT of
nasty
things in my life. Not much shocks me anymore. This did.
And the first thought that came to my head after the show was over? WTF
are
we all doing with these silly little inane rants and rages in our petty
little safe lives?!?!?!?!
And then, to open this group up, and read this on a newsgroup about a
freaking soap opera, of all things?!?!?!?!?!
(I've gone back and *** out a few of the really nasty things they do, if
anyone has trouble with the meaning ask me and I'll send you an e-mail
with
exact wording. Then come back and toss a tantrum over a newsgroup post,
that
many ppl in this world are giving their lives and fighting for our right
to
keep this freedom of speech that so many, like that 'restraining order'
post
was doing, trying to take away that right.)
Anyway, thanks for letting me rant a bit, sorry I got going with that
show,
but I urge EVERYONE here to watch it, and all the way thru, because it
sure
as heck will put all this little crappy nonsense in a totally different
light.

Then take a trip over there to volunteer at he hospital, in Panzi, in the
Congo. Think about what you're doing here. This is totally mind boggling,
compared to so many others, in the world.
Write to your congressmen, senators, everyone you can think of, send a
donation to the Panzi Clinic, instead of wasting time and bandwidth on
this
dippy little nothing of a 'fight'. Use your rage, but use it
