I'd say anyone who had two successful primetime series and has been
busy appearing on TV on a fairly regular basis (according to imdb) a
big actor. What have we seen Shirley Jones in recently? And she's
certainly considered one.
At any rate, his salary is probably in a range Days can't afford on a
long-term basis.
