Anyone recall if the exact cause of Beatrice's presumed demise was
ever mentioned during the series? I can't recall it was. If it had been,
and I just missed it, knowing might assist me in my lame and unspeakably
futile musings about how the series mighta developed had it not been
pulled just as Beatrice reappeared.
