Without question, one of the greatest song jingles of all time, it
almost packs the emotional wallop of your favorite spiritual hymn or R&B
Classic. I can remember the first time I heard this song way back in the
70s on an episode of "HAPPY DAYS". Potsie was taking an anatomy/biology
class and failing in part because the professor seemed to have it in for
him--he desperately needed a good grade on his test about the
Circulatory System. Fonzie helps him study and convinces him
that the easiest way to learn the material is to link it all together in
a song. Potsie gets a 100% on the test, but the professor accuses him of
cheating and is tearing him a new ass before Fonzie walks into the
classroom. Fonzie and Potsie then precede to lead the classroom in
a rendition of "Pump Your Blood", with Potsie (actor Anson Williams)
singing the song as he pushes the Professor around the classroom in a
wheel-legged chair. The Professor is won over by Potsie's dedication and
gives him an A+. It was an almost God-like performance by Anson
Williams, and for a short time after that episode everyone in America
assumed he would leave the show to become the next big movie star. It
was the height of Happy Days...it was the height of the Circulatory
System. God Bless "Pump Your Blood"

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaah... it was when Richie joined the army. It then jumped
again when they added that disasterous jinx Heather O'Rourke and
no-nothing Linda Purl.

It jumped the shark before the "shark" episode, when Chachi with his
'70s junior high haircut joined the cast

When Heather O'Rourke joined the show went from being mildly cutesy to
terminally cutesy...for real in Heather's case. I'm amazed that there is
an actual Heather O'Rourke Memorial Ring with 4 different websites
paying tribute to her life, even though she died like 17 years ago.

Here's something amazing:
My brother (who's 24 now) is a HUGE 'Poltergeist' fan. I mean, it DEEPLY
effects him. He talked about the desire to want go to Westwood Cemetary
(in Los Angeles, CA) to see her tomb... and co-star Dominique Dunne, too
(also there). He had been talking about this for what seemed like a
decade. My mom and I thought, "Yeah sure... like THAT'LL happen!". We're
in Canada, by the way. Well, 2 years ago we planned a trip to the
Southern California area (Santa Monica, CA) for early-September. The 3
of us went and fulfill his dream. We had a BLAST seeing the sights
(Universal Studios, a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Hollywood Walk Of
Fame, etc.). In Westwood, we saw Heather's tomb, Marilyn Monroe, Carrol
O'Conner, that guy from Hogan's Heros, etc. We did a "tomb rubbing"
(using thin, wide, long rolls of paper, placing it over the tomb and
going over the paper w/ crayon to make a copy of it) of many stars
graves, too.
Just thought I throw in a personal story about Heather. She gives me the
creeps and my mom, too. Especially on H.D.! To my brother, it's a
fascination.
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
My brother DESPERATELY wants a copy of the 'E!: True Hollywood Story',
"Dominique Dunne: An American Tragedy". If anyone can help us obtain a
copy, he's willing to pay for it. Thank You. taylor.tay...@[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Alas, it's now heard in a banal TV ad.
