Los Angeles recently lost a FF. I was watching the funeral on tv when
I heard a co-worker say, "Don't know him, don't care, don't know him,
don't care, don't wan't to know him, don't need to know him, don't
care. He is not 9/11 and they are my only hero's. All other FF's are
nobodies." Oh how I so badly wanted to smack him all over the place. I
had to get up and leave the break room. I'm still angry over his
words. All FF's are my hero's. Gosh knows, I've had enough show up at
my house over the years for my mom and dad. It's always sad to hear of
a loss in the department. My prayers are with their families.
