More County Chaos

The last episode made you wonder if the writers' strike started
early.  One good point was seeing Haleh again.  The lifers must be
working as temps now.  Did someone forget that Frank's married?  
       Abby should never go into politics.  She's a terrible liar.
It's never fun to see even a fictional character go downhill.  Another
example was Mary on 7th Heaven.  That show's producers appeared to have
done little research on ministers.  
      Coburn won't go easy if Abby lied about going to meetings.  What
was in the bag?  We saw her near Franklin Street.  I don't blame her for
firing the nanny.  But who was watching Joe now?  In the meantime, take
some time off.  
        Does anyone care for Harold?  I'd like to know more about his
background.  Not all homeschooling parents do it for the same reason.
Many have religious reasons.  Others aren't satisfied with the local
schools.  Or like in Mean Girls, the family lives in Africa.   Which
category is he in?  That would explain a lot.    
        Neela would have grounds to dismiss him.  She was a very bad
choice.  But Morris isn't that great either.   Which staff member, male
or female, should he have asked those questions?   Sadly, we have few
good role models anymore.  Not all of the previous cast were saints
either. 
        All this talk about boards has me confused.  Exactly where are
Pratt and Morris in their training?  The cramming bit has been done
before on sitcoms.  Happy Days and Facts of Life are two examples.
I never believed in cramming concerning all-nighters.  But who else has
been guilty of a lot of last minute studying?  How potent are those Red
Bulls?  Wouldn't Pratt get kicked out if he squeezed that toy?
       Sam finally got another storyline.  The bit about Alex got
dropped.  Josh was a lot more responsible.  But Tony could get in
serious trouble if the mom ever finds out the truth.   What if Haleh had
challenged him instead?  
         Remember Doug's DNR teenager?  Are any original medical plots
left?  Fortunately,  Sam was able to help Heather.  This show has a lot
of young folks with inadequate supervision.  What if she had asked for
help nicely?  Suppose she'd inquired about a nearby Internet cafe.  Will
this improve things with her dad?  I'm not so sure.  
          Moreti was back to being a jerk.  Different teaching styles
happen.  But they can drive any student batty.  I couldn't figure things
out regarding his son.  Has anyone read that book? Where's the big
announcement?  Will he be accompanying Abby to those meetings?  Stay
tuned.  
       Moreti was right about the dangers of inexperience and arrogance.
I want a doctor who knows what he (or she) can do.  Also,  where is
their knowledge lacking?  Let's see what the students' evaluation of him
is.  Please, quit getting Abby to confront him!  
     We have another new doctor around.  Note:  introduce yourself
before bellyaching.   It was dumb for Helen Crump to come chew out Andy
Taylor.  Even dumber was making them an item.  This lady doesn't look to
be around very long.  Maybe she should take Morris on that ski trip.
Let's start a collection.  
       Things could have been much better. Those musical montages are
never a favorite of mine.  Why not send TPTB to the bargain bins?  Grab
a LP or 8-track at random.   Choose a song off it the same way.  Would
those choices be better?  
     Our chaplain was back.  Losing a child can renew or destroy
someone's faith.  At least she was there with the mother.  Will we be
there next time too?  What effect will the strike have on future
episodes?
