What does Beckham have to do with a cheese contest - nothing.
The cheese rollers are British.
David Beckham is the most popular s****ts icon in Britain.
The Brits were getting out of control.
Morris wanted their attention, so called Beckham a "wanker" (British

a derogatory insult) to shut them up.
It worked.
