I would point out the outrage at Clemens ran very deep.   The last
couple of seasons in Boston he was very much out of shape and
essentially phoning it in.   Then he goes to Toronto, gets in shape,
pitches very good, and breeds resentment in Boston where the fans
asked
why didn't he do that when he was in Boston.   And that was before he
went to TEE.   I guess we don't have anyone in the US that is that
beloved to be equated to Beckham.
