But Luca is a doctor.   Whouldn't he be able to detect it by 1.   the
smell.  2. and looking at her?   When you spend years in the ER you
get pretty adept at dectecting when a person is on drugs/alchohol. Not
just the smell but the other clues that would scream out to
an experienced doctor like Luka that she is drunk as a skunk.  In fact
i'd wager that probably could predict with incredible accuracy what
the blood alcohol of a patient would be before he even runs the test.
He's probably seen so many over the years in the ER that he could
identify it.
