I hate seeing a show I love continuing to implode. We had a lot of
duh moments. Abby was glad to have Luka back. Yet she continued to
fall apart. Tony was gonna get Sarah back. Harold's white suit was
gonna get dirty. He should have worn it in the desert. That mud puddle
might come in handy.
=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0We needed more Luka. Does he still have a
job at County? Will Moretti's absence open a door for Pratt? Or could
Luka be persuaded to return as chief. How come we didn't get a Kerry
cameo?
=A0=A0=A0=A0 Abby should have taken more time off. She was still too
distracted for her job. Yuck to the vomiting scene! Eventually Luka
will see the signs, if not the bottle in the freezer. Couldn't it get
damaged up there? Did anyone think that she would lick the carpet, or
suck on the rag? What if the brother has a drinking problem too? How
long until he runs out screaming for a plane home?
Is Moretti gone for good? He at least acknowledged last week's
stupid incident. Apparently Luka was gone before he got hired. That
surprised me. His son is a total mess. What are the chances that he's
bipolar? Perhaps that didn't skip Abby after all. Maybe they're
related.
=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0The Rachel Greene Award goes to Sarah. How ironic that
the city girl got in more trouble in the country! Did they recast the
grandparents? Tony's anger was understandable. What happened to cooling
off? Oh yeah, that rarely happens in ER land.
=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0 Julia is still a strange chaplain. Few, if any faiths,
would approve of her sleeping with Tony. What is she supposed to be
anyway? My personal guess is Unitarian. Spare the flames. Her Army
upbringing may have exposed her to many faiths.
She also smokes. I sure hope that I'm never a patient at County.
Too many doctors and the chaplain are scary.
I actually laughed at some of the Harold and Morris moments.
Carter was the staff's last kid. Could all these dates distract
Harold, like the band did Ray? He gets the Napoleon Dynamite Award.
A TV Guide article about Doogie Howser comes to mind. Some
experts pointed out that a young doctor was unlikely. Also, he'd have
very little credibility with the patients.
Harold suffered from that. Yet he came through for the kid and his
dad. I'd imagine that a dad in a wheelchair would be extra concerned
about his son walking. Morris played Solomon with the cheese.
That line with Frank was uncalled for. Wouldn't that sandwich be
grounds for dismissal? How common is cheese rolling anyway?
Luka gave Abby a gift. He needs to give us one too. It is to
stick around long enough to turn out the lights. Go see if Raymond
Burr's old bungalow is still available. Then lock the doors!
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. It would have been
nice to have a new good episode that night. Why not send the nurses on
a road trip? Where would be a good location?
