He 'was' a great footballer and in fact he's not bad even now and in
fact played for the England Football Team (I'm not calling it Soccer)
this past week and maybe again tomorrow @[EMAIL PROTECTED]

But he problem a lot of people in England have with him, is that he
married a Spice Girl and seems to like the publicity and showbiz
aspect of life a bit too much for a pro s****tsman (people reckon
however that this is more Victoria's doing than his). As for people in
England not knowing what he's up to I think they'll be in the minority
to be honest.

As for Morris calling him a Wanker (is this not a term used in the US
then?) I think as someone else has already pointed out he was purely
using Beckham as a) The US know who he is and B) That he's from
England. But good call on the Beck in Like Beckham reference, I didn't
think about that.
