We don't have all the details, but it appears that Luka finds out about
the
drinking (not sure about the infidelity) and there is indeed a scene where

he is on his knees, weeping, begging her forgiveness, telling her it is
all
her fault. She tells him that she was 'weak' but never takes full
responsibility or tells him he is not responsible for her behavior, so the

show's continued inability to paint a true picture of alcoholism and its
management continues.

Next eppy makes it seem like Abby goes with him and Joe to Croatia for
the
funeral, but, after being absent for an eppy (mark your calendars!), we
discover Abby went to rehab for the drinking and her comments seem to
indicate she never made it to Croatia.

You'll be happy to know that her bosses fall all over themselves praising
herself for turning herself in rather than getting caught (neglecting to
notice that at least 3 of her superiors; Moretti, Pratt, and Luka, clearly

knew she was messed up and kept it to themselves, the only reason she got
the luxury of calling herself out). She ends up with guidelines which are

less stringent than what Carter had due to her fabulous honesty. She does

ask to take a vacation to Croatia before returning to work and it is
granted, with some provisions, but it looks like she doesn't go since she
is
clearly uncomfortable whenever her coworkers ask her about the trip.

Pratt knows where she was and she tells him that Luka and Joe have been in

Croatia all along, that she told him she needed to do 'some things' on her

own. She also claims that she speaks to them daily, but, once again, she
seems evasive and nervous. I somehow find it doubtful that Luka and Joe
remain in Croatia by her choice or that AA recommends that the family of
the
alcoholic relocate 5000 miles away as part of the treatment. Everyone I
know who has been to rehab had full familial sup****t, including joint
counselling and AlAnon for spouses, both during and after rehab.
