Add me to the club too. I find it objectionable the way they
write her character.
It's 2007, I expect a character to be written for 2007.
And yes this is the era when women are fully capable of
doing alot better than Abby ****trays them.
Also I know a woman was an alcoholic a number of
years ago. Her family basically decided one day
to let her sleep in the gutter, she had to
reach rock bottome before she could turn her
life around. Well fast formward all these
years later and she has turned her life around
and finally got her act together.
IMHO in all the ER episodes over the years,
I think my too least favorite characters were
both women, Abby and Lucy Knight.
As has been pointed out before, Abby is the Wil Crusher of
ER. Gene Roddenberry had an excuse for Wil Crusher, he
modeled the character after himself. What is Abby's excuse?
If this were ST:TNG i'd say the writers should push her
outside the airlock or trans****t her into a brick wall.
