If a person doesn't want to be subjected to unpleasant things--ER is not
the
show for that person. Most medical emergencies are unpleasant for
everyone
involved. People respond to difficult situations in different ways. I
would rather hear the scratchy voice of a five year old singing than a
drunk
screaming, swearing, vomiting, fighting and la****ng out at the doctors and
nurses. We have seen all that and much more over the years of watching ER.
