Immensively annoying when the news steps on the final bits of a
program, innit? Like they couldn't wait it out. "Thanks, guys. Makes
ALL the difference in the world that you didn't wait three minutes to
tell us that."

Well, the truncated nature of this season doesn't really give the
writers the op****tunity for that "the ER blows up, and this time we
REALLY MEAN IT!!!" ending the series needs.
