We were just in Tampa at a conference. One of our staff had to be rushed to
Tampa General. That's the #1 level-1 trauma hospital in Florida. Brand new
ER department (with free valet parking - smart move to get cars out of
the
way) and it only had one entrance as well. Our local does also. Once
gurneys
come in they go through another set of doors into the trauma area,
waiting
folks turn into the waiting room and can't get into the trauma area.
Security in Tampa was tight, but not overly obvious or uncomfortable.
